Ultra low floor CNG Tarmac coaches for Jet Airways
TATA Motors involved us when they were asked by Jet Airways to develop a exclusive CNG
tarmac coach for them.
We have designed, engineered and built the interior for this fleet of airport buses. We have
managed this project completely from the initial schematic phase through tooling and batch
production. We have designed the bus interior to resemble an aircraft by streamlining the interior
surfaces and made all the panels using a vacuum-formed fire-retardant plastic.
An innovation was made where we proposed the interiors to be made in ABS plastics. The
challenge here was to design the panels in such a manner where the finish should be
immaculate, low production volume, robust and reliable and easy to assemble.
